Hello my lovely ladies. Yes, to answer your question..i AM still alive.
I must say that I am not impressed with word press. MAYBE..its just been too long since ive been into blogging and html, etc. that i just dont understand how to work these things anymore..or maybe, its just not that awesome. not too sure yet, but either way, i feel that wordpress is confusing as $h!+, thus being one of the reasons I havent been blogging much.
Honestly, I really HAVENT been that busy lately, but I HAVE been busy trying to get back to a normal schedule. Its difficult trying to get your life all back to normal, while starting school at the same time.
My classes are good so far.
my nutrition class seems like its going to be kind of boring (mainly because its actually BASIC nutrition that were learning) like, how to read food labels, how to have a balanced diet, get enough exercise, etc) it could also be because its at 8 AM!
my geography class is a hoot! the teacher is awesome and talks about sexting and how playing world of warcraft in your parents basement is way more fun than coming to school and how he doesnt give extra credit because theres not extra credit in life when your a meth addict and your working at taco bell and your tooth falls out into someone’s burrito. yeahh. he might be psycho but hes awesome. and there may be a boy in there that i may have my eye on
my psychology class is okay so far i guess.
my sociology class is what i think is going to kill me. its a seminar, and although i have had seminar classes before, its generally relatively easy stuff but im not so sure about this class. we shall seee…
ive been struggling lately with motivation. motivation to go to the gym, motivation to go tanning, motivation to do anything, actually..because of this damned weather. its so dreary and foggy and rainy out and i hate it. it makes me want to curl up into a ball and sleep forever.
eventually i do end up basically forcing myself to head to the gym or go tanning, but by then i have no energy once i get there. ughh. so i decided i needed to make a list to refresh myself as to why i love working out and why its of my best interest to go..
- i LOVE the feel good endorphines you get after a good workout..there is nothing better. you feel SO energized and so aspired, despite the fact that you just worked your a$$ off for the past 2 hours.
- I always get my best ideas when im working out.
- I like being disconnected from the media world for a while. Away from my phone, away from facebook, away from blogger (NO OFFENSE GUYS!) and just be able to crank my ipod up and relax.
- I like the connections you make in the gym. Whether it be a conversation with a person, or overhearing a conversation that you can relate to, or even just the little smiles and glances you get from people that you can tell that they are enjoying what theyre doing (or that they’ve seen you in the gym before
- sexy, sweaty guys. nuff said.
- leaving the gym in the winter after a good workout. its 25 degrees out, but damn does it feel GOOD.
- feeling better about myself on a daily basis..whether i got a 10 minute workout in or a 50 minute workout
- SWEATING. i looove it.
- i used to EAT, thinking, okay..ill burn X amount of calories later at the gym. NOW, i EAT thinking..its okay, i went to the gym today, despite how much work i did..and thats a big step for memy
